This factory panoramic removable hardtop is finished in Black (040) and was produced for 1990–2002 Mercedes-Benz R129 SL models. Designed with a steel frame and a full glass roof panel, it features OEM Siglia-marked glass, a retractable interior sunshade, and original hardware designed to mount directly to any R129 chassis.
The top includes a panoramic glass roof panel, glass side and rear windows, and painted steel bodywork along the frame. Factory Siglia glass markings are present on the windows, as shown in the gallery. An imperfection in the upper area of the rear glass is noted and documented.
Inside, the hardtop features a smoothly operating retractable sunblind with functioning tracks and handles, along with Black vinyl-trimmed surfaces across non-glass areas. The sunshade opens and closes freely as designed. All latch points have been tested on an R129 and lock securely. Rubber and felt trim remain in good usable condition without notable aging or separation.
This rare panoramic assembly fits all R129 SL models from 1990 to 2002, offering significantly improved cabin visibility and collector value compared to a standard steel hardtop.
