2018 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Chassis
Factory AMG Race Chassis • GT3 190 Platform • Track-Spec Aluminum/Magnesium Frame
Offered here is a 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT3 race chassis, manufactured by Mercedes-AMG GmbH and designated specifically for GT3 competition. The chassis carries ID number 190 18 189, with factory plaques showing the serial and certification numbers, confirming its sanctioned motorsport origin. This chassis was acquired by the seller in 2023 and remains a former competition frame, now stripped of all usable running hardware.
Constructed from lightweight aluminum and magnesium, the GT3 chassis was designed as the foundation for Mercedes-AMG’s FIA-homologated customer race program. The model debuted in 2015 and was replaced in 2019, seeing success in endurance events including the Blancpain GT Series, Nürburgring Endurance Championship, and IMSA GTD campaigns. In competition, GT3 cars of this era were powered by the naturally aspirated 6.2L M159 V8 paired to a sequential transaxle.
The chassis shows signs of prior race use, including light wear, factory part markings, and identification stamps. Mileage and track hours are unknown, and the frame is offered exactly as pictured with no additional components or drivetrain. It is sold as a bare race chassis by the current owner in Pleasant Grove, Utah with a bill of sale only.
